Well.... The holiday season has come and gone and now we are home and back at work.

The elves and Mrs Claus and I had a wonderful vacation. We had so much fun and did so many amazing things but now it's back to work

I'm still receiving your letters and that is so wonderful that I've decided to keep this blog open all year for you to keep writing to me at any time and to send me your messages as well as your wishes. It's never too early to let Santa know.

I love getting your letters and I read each and every one no matter how many I get so keep writing and remember Santa knows if you have been naughty or nice.

A Message from Santa Claus

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

I want to apologize to everyone for not being online much lately. It is an important time of the year when Santa should be here and I am very aware of that.

Unfortunately, there is a person here in BlogWorld who seems intent on making sure that I am not part of the Christmas Season here at MBL this year.

Every time I log on, or check an email or anything I am immediately targeted and then have to go about fixing my computer yet again. So far to date I have had to reformat my hard drive 5 times and then reload and configure all of the software. Each time seems to be different and it sometimes takes me days to get back online.

Just a word to the person doing it... I know who you are and so far have resisted the urge to publicly discredit you. It is not my nature to be negative or revengeful but it is nearly at the time when I will be forced to name you in the hope that that will stop you from this continual harassment that you seem intent on.

All I want to do is bring cheer and happiness and peace and joy and love to all of you at this special time and it hurts me more than I can say that I have been continually stopped from doing so.

I intend to stay online as much as possible but if I disappear once more unexpectedly you will know why and I do apologize for it. It's my job as Santa to bring the Christmas cheer to all of you and it hurts me to be unable to do that properly.

May Christmas be that special time that you expect and may all of your wishes come true. Please remember though the true meaning of Christmas this and every year is to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Christ child. That is what Christmas really IS all about.

Merry Christmas to all of you and thank you for your support and loyalty over the past few months. It has been a wonderful experience.

I know it still seems like such a long way from Christmas but it is actually only 78 more days and that will go so quickly.

Maybe now is the time to start thinking about your children, grandchildren or anyone at all writing a letter to Santa.

I have provided three letter templates above for you to use. Just click on the one you want and it will bring up a full size letter for you to print out. Once the letter is completed you can scan it and email it back to me.

Every child loves to write to Santa and i love very much to receive them. Every year i receive thousands and I read every last one of them

Well I think this is wonderful!! It isn't every year that everyone is just pleased to happily receive whatever they are given for Christmas. I suppose that's a good way to be anyway because most 0f the pleasure of receiving a gift is wondering what on earth it can be. The anticipation is wonderful!!!

So.... what Santa would like to know is what you want to give to someone else. How do you intend to change someone's day? What will you give to put that smile on their face, that twinkle in their eyes?

What Santa wants for Christmas!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone.

Well it's obvious to me that this year the sleigh will be a lot lighter. I know it's only August but Santa has to plan these things you know! It's hard enough to get the elves working together at the best of times but when they really don't know what to make it;s even worse. Sure we make the standard dolls and cars and ipods and gameboys etc., but I know as well as you do that there is always that special something that Santa really needs to be told about.

I know I see everything but I can't read minds!!! Wish I could sometimes because then I'd know when to lay low when Mrs Claus it looking for me to do those extra chores :-)

So.... Seeing no one will tell me what they would like for Christmas I'll tell you what I want.

Uh hmmm. I have a list :-)

I want everyone to be happy and peaceful not just at Christmas but every day of the year. Is that possible?

I want everyone all over the world to be able to co-exist without fighting and arguing over things that are really not that important.

I want everyone to come and see Santa here. (I get lonely sometimes).

I need some new earmuffs. Preferable red if you don't mind. I am fashion conscious.

I want every child in the world to live with respect. I don't want to see the sadness in their eyes or the bulging bellies caused by starvation and disease. I want them all to have happiness and peace and live with the knowledge that they can live with security and love. Is that too much to ask?

I want Mrs Claus to always know how much I love here and that I never could be Santa without her. It just wouldn't be right would it?

I want everyone to live their lives as if every day was their last. Say that goodbye every time you part from those you care about, Give that kiss when it isn't even necessary, never finish any day without telling those you love how much you really do.

That will keep me going!!!

If only the joy and peace and happiness that comes about each Christmas could stay in our hearts every day. Let the magic of Christmas be with you always.

A Light Sleigh this Year

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone! Santa here again.

The last few days have been so hectic with Toy and Elf problems up to my big white beard. A Santa's work is never done! What's that Mrs Claus? Yes Dear, I know. You still have to vacuum while I sit down with my feet up and check the "Naughty and Nice" book.

Well it appears that everyone must have finally got so much that they don't need anything else. The sleigh will be light this year. No one is asking for anything. Not even the children. Come on everyone. I don't believe that for a second. So start talking or it will be a coal mine going out the window this year.

The Christmas season tradition that makes it stand out from all others is gift-giving. Crowded malls lead to brightly-wrapped packages and then to bright eyes and smiles as the surprises are revealed. Inevitably this tradition is criticized as too commercial, although it seems strange that anyone should complain about living in a society of working people, which allows us to purchase all the things that make life pleasant as well as things that just make us happy. In any case, we need to produce before we can give. Some suggest that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Is this true? Is this pure altruism or is there something in it for us the givers? This is a good time to ask about some of the reasons why is it of value to us to give gifts.

The valid reason for giving gifts to others is that others are of value to us. Sometimes we might give to others because of the things they give to us. We’re happy for good co-workers, for the folks who park our cars, cut our hair or deliver our mail. Sure, they were only doing their job. But it's still not a bad idea to remind them that we appreciate both what they do for us and what their job does for us-- that allow them to provide those services to begin with.

We give gifts to children not only for the obvious reason that we love them but also for the joy of seeing their expectant faces. Of course, we also want them to understand that as adults they must work for most things of real value to them. But we want to instill in them the notion that the universe is ultimately benevolent and that there is a world of beautiful and wonderful things that are worth working for.

Sometimes, if we're really creative, we can pick just the perfect gift that we know will be of special meaning to the individual that we value -- a book or music CD that they've been looking for but can’t find or perhaps something of which they are entirely unaware. It gives us a particular joy when we manage to pull off such a present because it’s actually a case of “to love them is to know them.” It’s our recognition of the interests, values and emotions of the other – the things we love about them – that allows us to anticipate the joy that will come both from their gift and from their recognition that someone really sees and appreciates what is essential about them, that they are visible to another's understanding mind and soul.

Even when we can’t find that perfect gift, we still take joy in giving a little something because of what parents, siblings, children, relatives or friends mean to us. So as you sit around handing them even just a token tie or box of chocolates, think of what they mean to you and why you’re giving them the gift. Think of what they’ve meant to you in recent weeks, months, years or all your life. Or better still, tell them!

Both giving and getting are great. But the gift is not just in the box that's given or received but in the hearts and minds of the givers and receivers as an affirmation of the people they value.

But we all know that Christmas without Santa just wouldn't be Christmas. So come on!!! Share your wishes with me. I need to give!!

Why is Santa here Now?

OK. I've heard all the comments and questions. What on earth is Santa doing around this time of the year. He's supposed to be not seen and definitley not heard until the end of the year.

Being Santa isn't just a one day of the year job. It's the other 364 days that really make me sweat.

Come on now!! I know you want something for Christmas. I know how the system works remember. If fact....... Didn't I invent this thing?

Make my life easier. It's hard work trying to work out that perfect gift for over 6 billion people so fess up!!! Santa wants to know.
